Decades of Expertise in Action

Our instructor Dwayne Duhon's journey in martial arts began decades ago, earning his third-degree black belt in the 1990s. Throughout his career in law enforcement, he saw firsthand the devastating impact of violent crimes against women and the challenges victims faced in the justice system. This experience pushed him to dedicate his time to teaching self-defense strategies that empower women to fight back with confidence.

Over the years, he has trained in various settings across the country, working with organizations such as the FBI in Quantico, the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, and law enforcement agencies in Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Alabama. Dwayne has also led self-defense training for women’s groups in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky, as well as programs in Bermuda.

His training methods are shaped by years of working with law enforcement agencies, women’s groups, and organizations across multiple states. Unlike traditional martial arts studios, his approach is based on practical application, ensuring that every technique taught is useful in everyday life, giving women and young girls the tools they need to feel safer and more prepared.
